can offer
Walking and Rambling – Wonderful
area for walking and rambling enthusiast or even for those
who just enjoy a stroll over open countryside. Cockshutts
Farm is 750 ft up in the NE Herefordshire uplands and commands
panoramic views in all directions. We have prepared some
short walks and also longer distance hikes following bridleways,
footpaths and tracks for you all to enjoy. There are Countryside
Parks in easy reach such as Mortimer Forest, Wyre Forest,
Queens Wood. Clee Hills, Malverns Hills, Black Mountains,
Forest of Dean, and close by near Bromyard, Lower Brockhampton
NT, we are so lucky to be in the midst of this beautiful
unspoiled area
Bird Watching – This part
of Herefordshire is very mixed farming, with open fields,
woodland, rivers and is a haven for wildlife. Sky Larks,
Yellow Hammers, Owls, Dunnocks, Woodpeckers and many other
species of farm and woodland birds can be found here. You
are welcome to explore and see what you can spot on our
farm and in the neighboring countryside
Hawk Walks – We have teamed
up with a local Bird of Prey specialist, Trevor Hill who
is pleased to offer a display for you during your stay
here at Wolferlow Wigwams, a lovely birthday surprise,
or just a treat to see these majestic birds flying over
the open countryside
